Coming to the United States has been one of the best experiences of my life. There are a million things that made my experience so amazing, however, the most important has to be all the people I have met at UC.
I have found one of the best ways to meet more like-minded people is by joining organizations that you like. By being a part of organizations like CEAS Tribunal, a student council for CEAS, Ambassadors, University Funding Board and Association of Computer Machinery, I have gotten to know people I never would have otherwise and learn from their experiences.
I also love working various jobs on campus since every part time job has something new for me to learn. Apart from being an international ambassador, I am currently a resident advisor at USquare Apartments, which is a part of on campus housing. I have also worked at the Learning Commons as an SRS Tutor where I tutored first year students in Calculus 1 and 2.
Apart from involvement, I have also had two co-ops at LCS, a company in Cincinnati, where I did a lot of web development. Other than that, I also did a research program after my first year in the summer. I have a major fear of missing out and so I like to gather as many different experiences as I can, because if not in college, then when?
See you at UC!
